2 Response Dutch PM Rutte on first results criminal investigation MH17

This morning the families of the victims of the MH17 disaster were briefed by the Joint Investigation Team on the initial findings of the criminal investigation into the downing of flight MH17. These findings concern the weapon used to down flight MH17, the location from which it was fired and the Buk missile system’s route of transport.

Following a number of attacks in Brussels on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders have been in contact with their Belgian colleagues. Both sent their condolences, expressed the Netherlands’ solidarity with Belgium and offered practical support.

The Dutch ministry of Foreign Affairs, IUCN NL and ECN are launching a second round for ‘Mobilizing More’ (MoMo) proposals. MoMo brings together entrepreneurs, policymakers and investors to make business propositions possible that tackle the impacts and causes of climate change in developing countries.
