The Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) promotes capacity building by providing training and education for professionals. The NFP was initiated and is fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation. EP-Nuffic is responsible for the management of the NFP.
On the occasion of the second edition of the European Union Week taking place in Mozambique, Ambassador Pascalle Grotenhuis was invited as guest speaker on the panel for the debate concerning Premature Marriages on Wednesday the 2nd of November.
This morning the families of the victims of the MH17 disaster were briefed by the Joint Investigation Team on the initial findings of the criminal investigation into the downing of flight MH17. These findings concern the weapon used to down flight MH17, the location from which it was fired and the Buk missile system’s route of transport.

All parties to a conflict, and governments in particular, are responsible for ensuring that the civilian population is respected and protected. Following a number of attacks in Brussels on Tuesday morning, Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bert Koenders have been in contact with their Belgian colleagues. Both sent their condolences, expressed the Netherlands’ solidarity with Belgium and offered practical support.
